Anthony (Tony) Ippolito CEC, CCE
Born and raised in New Castle Pennsylvania, Chef Tony started his culinary career right after high school. He knew as a young child I wanted to be a chef and so following high school graduation, Chef Tony enrolled at the International Culinary Academy in Pittsburgh to obtain an associate’s degree in specialized technology. After graduating at the top of his class, he worked various jobs at local restaurants, Hilton Worldwide, and a bed and breakfast. All of which helped him obtain certification as a Certified Executive Chef (CEC), Certified Culinary Educator (CCE), and ServSafe Instructor/Proctor.
In 2002, Chef Tony wanted to try something different in my career so he entered the world of contract food management. This venture has been very successful for him and his family. He has spent the last decade and a half at various universities, colleges, and healthcare facilities.
As a father of four daughters, he understands the importance of values, family life, integrity, and most importantly leading by example. Chef Tony and his wife truly believe in the saying “actions speak louder than words”.
“I’m very excited to join the Metz Culinary Management Team as well as the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville family,” said Chef Tony. “I’m looking forward to beginning this new chapter.”
